Hey there, I’m Joe.

All my life I’ve wanted a writer. (Well apart from the time that I wanted to be the guy with the white gloves on the lottery and when I wanted to be the next John Motson. Lofty dreams.)

So for most of my life, I’ve wanted to be a writer. It’s why I studied Journalism and then English at university and the reason why a big portion of my student loan went on filling my bookshelves (the rest went on essentials like beer and pizza).

Fortunately, I realised no one is likely to start paying me to write my musings while I sip bourbon in a Parisienne cafe, for now at least. So, I decided to put my skills to good use and start helping businesses, brands and start-ups with their content.

So, what do you actually do?

I’m not gonna bore you with statistics but content marketing is one of the most important elements of any marketing plan. (if you want the stats, check out this article.)

Content marketing does a whole bunch for your brand: it generates leads, builds trust with your audience, increases audience retention, builds authority and, importantly, boosts your SEO efforts.

This means that whatever level your business is at, content marketing is a cracking idea. Unfortunately, finding the time to do it and, more importantly, do it well, isn’t easy for a lot of brands.

That’s where I come in. I take care of the writing so you can focus on everything else that goes into making your business a massive success. Blog posts, guest posts, press releases, emails; you name it. 

But I don’t just write any old way, I write for your business which means I adapt the tone and style to suit your audience, giving your website some Mojo.

Before Mojo was Mojo, I was racking my brains for a decent name that wasn’t, well, my name. I made a loooong list of possible names, the usual drivel full of puns about like Write of Way and then LA Woman by The Doors came on.

Mojo stuck. It all came together, Mojo means magic, it means Mobile Journalist and it’s a subtle Hunter S Thompson reference. It was perfect and it was only after designing the logo, I realised it also included most of my name.
